On Friday, April 27th, Grover’s Den officially opened at Grove Family Library on Ragged Edge Road in Chambersburg. In attendance at the grand opening for the ribbon cutting was Representative Rob Kauffman, several of the Grover’s Den planning committee volunteers, and staff.
Grover’s Den is a comfortable area within the library designated for those over the age of 55 to sit down, relax, sip coffee, read large print books, meet new people, research subjects of special interest on a large screen monitor.
In conjunction with the Den, several programs have been implemented geared toward seniors.
May 15th 10 -11 am Nutrition & Diet
June 6th 2 pm Floral Design (First Wednesdays program)
June 13th 10 am Jazzercise

Grover’s Den is partially funded with federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds administered by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries.
